The FOMA Ortho 400 is a black and white negative film with high sensitivity (ISO 400/27°) and orthochromatic sensitization.

According to the manufacturer, Foma, the film has a wide exposure range: the exposure index (EI) varies between 160/23° and 1600/33°. It also has an extended green sensitivity.
It is particularly suitable for landscape photography and artistic portraits, due to the darker skin tone reproduction typical of orthochromatic films.

The Foma Ortho 400 offers a significantly higher sensitivity alternative to the low to medium sensitivity orthochromic films available on the market.
