Pan F+ is an extremely fine-grain film that delivers crisp edge sharpness and high resolving power, offering excellent detail rendition and strong enlargement capability. It uses a classic, traditional emulsion rather than a “T-grain” or “Delta-type” emulsion. It is the finest-grained film in the Ilford range. However, in terms of absolute sharpness and resolution, Delta 100 performs slightly better.

Ilford recommends processing Pan F+ as soon as possible after exposure, as the latent image is not as stable over long periods as it is with most other Ilford films.
