Adox Art Baryta is a clear, uncoated barium sulphate based paper that can be coated with a liquid emulsion or used for alternative photographic processes. It is a heavy grammage paper made from the highest quality photographic paper. The extremely fine fibre structure of the paper ensures that the fibres are not visible in the image. Adox Art Baryta produces a glossy surface and prevents colour blurring, so brush strokes are sharply defined.

This paper is therefore ideal for applying your own photographic emulsions, for example for black and white enlargement with liquid silver halide emulsion. If you want to use it in a black and white lab, it should be coated with a photosensitive emulsion first.
