No other film is sharper, has finer grain or higher resolution (up to 800 line pairs/mm at high contrast).

Almost grain-free and extremely sharp magnifications can be obtained up to an image diameter of 2.5 metres - equivalent to a resolution of approximately 500 megapixels.
The silver grains of the ADOX CMS 20 II have a regular, uniform cubic structure and are applied in a single, extremely thin layer of ultra-fine grain. An AHU antihalation layer sandwiched between the emulsion and the film base ensures optimum film sharpness.

The ADOX ADOTECH IV caller is a special chemistry developed for CMS 20 II film that allows you to achieve classic tonal detail in your photos. ADOTECH IV helps this otherwise very contrasty film to produce beautiful gray transitions and tones, resulting in images with incredible detail that is hard to believe was shot on 35mm film.
With this caller, you can use the film sensitivity range EI 3/6° to 25/15°.

In standard caller mode, the film sensitivity increases up to ISO 80/20°, while contrast is increased to an extreme. When called up in this way, the film is also excellent for documentary purposes.
