Fomabrom is a neutral black, fixed contrast (graded) fibre-based photo paper with a high light sensitivity.
The 180 g double weighted paper base is very similar to BN Universal and the old Agfa papers. Due to the previous collaboration between Foma and Wolfen, the production process tries to produce paper with similar characteristics as far as possible.
The paper has a high light sensitivity and a slightly warmer tone than Polygrade Coldtone, but cooler than Polygrade Warmtone.
Specialities:
✔ Compatible with lith printing
✔ Depending on lith developer and dilution, can give beautiful red tones in peak highlights
✔ Usually produced with a glossy finish, but occasionally available also in matt version
🔴 Important: The paper can be used with red, orange or yellow-green darkroom light, all other colours can be illuminated!
